§ 2.24.010. Office created; function

In order to facilitate the uniform processing and development of all fiscal and budgetary functions of the city not performed by the city treasurer, there is hereby created the office of finance director for the city. The appointment or removal of the finance director shall be made by the city council. The finance director shall be an at-will employee of the city.
