§ 2.24.020. Duties

The finance director shall be charged with all of the financing, accounting and auditing duties of the city, and shall be subject to all of the powers granted and imposed upon the city clerk by the provisions of article I, chapter 4, part 2, division 3, title IV of the Government Code of the State of California, and sections 40802 , 40803, 40804 and 40805 of said Government Code. In addition, the finance director shall be responsible, under the general supervision of the city clerk, for the day-to-day supervision of all administrative duties as may be provided by resolution of the city council. The finance director shall perform such other fiscal and administrative duties as may be provided by resolution of the city council.
