§ 2.24.060. Absence or disability.

Should the finance director by absent from work or disabled, the city clerk, with prior approval of the city council by resolution may designate a temporary acting finance director. Alternatively, the city council by resolution may designate the city clerk to act as the temporary finance director under such circumstances.
