§ 3.36.020. Amount of tax

The amount of said excise tax shall be $1.00 for each calendar day, or portion thereof, on or after the effective date in which a short-term parker exercises the privilege of leasing vehicular parking spaces or rights within the city that are made subject to said excise tax by the resolution or ordinance adopted by the city council. Each short-term parker shall pay said tax to the parking operator prior to exercising the privilege of engaging in short-term parking with the city.
