No oil and gas service station, or oil service station, or gas service station, shall
be hereafter erected, installed or established within the limits of the city, except
upon a permit issued by the city council, which permit shall be for a fixed period
of years, not exceeding ten, and be based upon an application filed with the city
council containing the name of the persons, firm or corporation intending to erect,
install or establish such oil service station, accompanied by plans and specifications
of construction and a statement of the proposed location thereof.
Provided, that no facilities for greasing or repairing automobiles or other vehicles
at any such gas or oil service station shall be installed, nor shall any greasing
or repairs of automobiles, or other vehicles, at any such station be permitted unless
the same is specifically authorized by the permit granted for the establishment of
said gas or oil service station.
