§ 5.48.030. Liability for fees

It is hereby found and determined that the inspection of business property for fire code compliance purposes benefits the owners, as well as the occupants, of such property and such owners and such occupants are jointly and severally liable for such inspection costs. The fees constitute an indebtedness owed the city and the fire chief is directed to employ such means of collection as are authorized by law.
