§ 5.52.160. Floodplain administrator—Watercourse alteration or relocation

The floodplain administrator shall:
A.

Notify adjacent communities and the state department of water resources prior to such alteration or relocation of a watercourse, and submit evidence of such notification to the Federal Insurance Administration; and submit evidence of such notification to the Federal Insurance Administration;

B.

Require that the flood carrying capacity of the altered or relocation of a watercourse is maintained.
