§ 2.28.080. Removal
The city council may remove from office any commissioner, regardless of whether that commissioner's term of office has expired, for any of the following reasons:
A.
The commissioner is absent from six consecutive meetings of the commission.
B.
The commissioner no longer meets the qualifications mandated by section 2.28.040.
C.
The commissioner has, in the opinion of the council as expressed in a resolution adopted by a four-fifths supermajority, so grossly neglected his or her duties that the public interest requires the commissioner's removal.
