§ 2.28.050. Appointment

Commissioners shall be appointed by a resolution of the city council. Once appointed, the council may remove a commissioner before completion of the commissioner's term of office only pursuant to the provisions of section 2.28.080.

Upon enactment of this Code, each existing commissioner who is qualified to serve under the provisions of section 2.28.040 is appointed to serve the remainder of his or her term of office, as calculated from the date of the commissioner's last appointment.
