§ 2.28.060. Term

The term of office of the members shall be four years. Following expiration of a commissioner's terms, the city council may at its discretion re-appoint the commissioner or appoint another person to replace the commissioner whose term has expired.

If a commissioner's term of office expires and the council has neither re-appointed the commissioner nor appointed a replacement, the commissioner continues to serve on the commission at the pleasure of the council until such time that the council re-appoints the commissioner or appoints a replacement.
